History: Andro was discovered in 1935; however it wasn't until taken seriously until the 1950's when scientists learned that it became testosterone in the body. It is produced in all mammals in the gonad and adrenal glands. Andro is the next metabolic step down from DHEA and only one step away from testosterone. By itself, it is not a muscle builder; it must be converted to testosterone by the liver to produce any effects.
Optimum testosterone levels are necessary for muscle growth and performance. Utilizing andro correctly, you can peak your testosterone output to coincide with your workout schedule and produce greater gains from your training. Andro appears to be absorbed rapidly into the blood stream producing peak concentrations 30 to 90 minutes after taking. For optimum results, the recommended dosage is 100-mg daily before your workouts for four weeks. Peak testosterone levels occur about an hour after taking and return to normal after three hours. Experts suggest the best way to take andro is by cycling it. The proper cycle is six weeks of taking followed by two weeks off.
Younger people that are still growing should not take andro because elevated androgen levels may stop their natural skeletal growth. It is recommended to take antioxidants like Vitamin E while taking andro. This supplement is not recommended for women, as it could lead to a lower voice, facial hair and acne.
